LeBron James plays for Philadelphia now. Giannis Antetokounmpo plays for Miami. The team defending the Emirates NBA Cup also defends the NBA title. And the coach who took Orlando to the Cup semifinal last year now works in New Orleans. Group Play opens on October 30, 2026, and by the morning of November 28, four…
Group Play ends on November 27, and thirty teams become eight. What follows is three rounds over eight days, single elimination, ending with the championship on December 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse. This is the bracket hub: the bracket, the dates, and how to watch. The full mechanics — seeding, tiebreakers, hosting — live on the…
Stand at center court on a Cup night in November. Under your feet: a gold trophy, the team logo laid over it, and the team name stretching the full width of the floor — printed twice. Walk toward either basket and the paint glows gold around another trophy. Glance at the sideline and it might…
Orlando Magic fans have a simple question every November: when do the Magic play in the NBA Cup, and where can I watch? The answer: four games — Friday, October 30 at Toronto (7:30 PM ET), Friday, November 13 vs Milwaukee (7:00 PM ET), Friday, November 20 at Brooklyn (7:30 PM ET), and Tuesday, November…
Two years ago the Raptors went 1–3 in the Emirates NBA Cup and went home early. Last year they flipped it completely: 4–0 in group play, a first-ever knockout berth, and a quarterfinal run. Now Kawhi Leonard is back in Toronto, and the 2026 draw has handed the Raptors their most winnable group yet. Four…
On November 6, Trae Young walks back into Atlanta wearing a Washington Wizards jersey — an odd homecoming, and one that counts in the Emirates NBA Cup standings. That single game captures why East Group C is the hardest group to get a read on: four of its five teams were rebuilt over the summer,…
October 30 opens in Philadelphia, where a retooled 76ers roster gets its first real test against the team that swept it out of last spring. That is how East Group B begins — and if you are trying to keep track of who plays whom, where to watch, and who actually survives a group this…
DraftKings can barely split them: +155, +230, +250. Three teams, three prices, one group — East Group A is the tightest betting race of the entire 2026 Emirates NBA Cup, and it comes with a 60-win favorite, a Raptors team that just added Kawhi Leonard, and two franchises starting over from scratch. Trying to follow…
The final Friday of group play: the Lakers walk into San Antonio, and the winner takes West Group C. That is not a fantasy — it is the actual November 27 schedule, a rematch of last year’s Cup quarterfinal, and quite possibly a win-or-go-home night. Around it sits the most loaded group of the 2026…
Last year, Memphis went 3–1 in Cup group play and still went home — beaten on point difference. That is the kind of group West Group B is: five teams, four games each, and margins so thin that every basket in November could matter in December. A heavy favorite sits at the top, a brand-new…
